Just confirmed…Richard Anderson

Operator 13 Productions is extremely pleased to announce that Richard Anderson has been added to the lineup of Monsters, Martians and Mad Scientists: Horror in the Atomic Age.

Mr. Anderson appeared as Chief Quinn in the 1956 science fiction classic Forbidden Planet. In addition to its excellent cast, this MGM “A Picture” was notable for its groundbreaking oscar-nominated special effects and all-electronic musical score. It also featured the first appearance of Robby the Robot.

We’ll also be asking Mr. Anderson about his starring role in the cult classic Curse of the Faceless Man (1958). Directed by Edward L. Cahn, the film was originally released on a double-bill with United Artists’ It! The Terror from Beyond Space.

Sci-fi fans also know Mr. Anderson for his portrayal of Oscar Goldman on both The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. While talking to Mr. Anderson on the phone to arrange our interview, his distinctive voice took me straight back to the many hours I spent as a child watching both shows. I look forward to talking to him!
